Dough staff rise as early as 4am to make the doughnuts everyone knows and loves. This position is essential for ensuring all dough work from mixer to fryer is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Those chosen to fill the role must be reliable, have high quality standards, great attention to detail, excellent time management, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
General Duties
- mixing, rolling, cutting, and frying doughnuts
- occassionally decorating doughnuts
- closely following recipes and instruction
- setting up and cleaning up work area
- ability to follow instruction easily
- ability to stay calm and confident during busy times
- must be timely and able to prioritize tasks
- must work well independently and as a team
- responsible for proper food handling, storage, and labeling
- ensure cleanliness and health standards are met
- standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25kg
- knowledge of yeast dough and lamination an asset
*weekend availability and relevant bakery/kitchen experience is required*
